Photography for brands that prefer atmosphere over noise.
I work with brands, magazines, and editors that operate in a quieter register — where the second look matters more than the first.
My process is collaborative but unhurried. I begin with the brief, the brand, and the people inside it, then look for the visual language that carries the story without overstating it. The result is editorial work that holds attention because it earned it.
I shoot mostly on location, mostly in available light or with minimal setup, to maintain a natural look.

CASE STUDYTwo Kinds of Light
A self-initiated menswear editorial, photographed across two Copenhagen districts in a single afternoon. The brief: let hard shadow and golden hour argue with each other, and find out whether one wardrobe could hold both.
FAQsWorking together: questions
-
A conversation about the brand, the audience and the story. A written treatment with references, mood, locations and timing. The shoot itself, on location, with whatever time it needs. And a curated, finished edit delivered as high-resolution files. Retouching is restrained by design; I'd rather get it right in the light than fix it later.
-
Campaigns and seasonal stories, brand portraits and atmosphere imagery, products in real environments rather than on white, long-form visual essays for magazines, and hospitality, interiors, food and spatial storytelling. If it needs studio strobes and a white cyclorama, I'll point you to someone better suited.
-
Each project is quoted against its brief: days on location, travel, the size of the edit, and how the images will be used. Usage and licensing are agreed before the shoot, not after. Send me the brief, or even a rough version of it, and you'll have a written quote within a few working days.
-
You license the images for agreed uses, territories and durations, and the fee reflects that. A local campaign for a season costs less than global rights in perpetuity. I keep it simple and in writing; the license is part of the quote, so there are no surprises later.
-
Yes. I'm based in Copenhagen and much of my work is Nordic, but I photograph in Italy regularly and travel for projects that make sense. Travel and time away are scoped into the quote. For brands abroad, a short call to align on the treatment usually replaces the coffee.
-
A first edit within one to two weeks, depending on the size of the production, with final files shortly after. If you have a print deadline or a launch date, tell me at the outset and I'll plan the edit around it.
-
Sometimes, when the brand wants that softness and the schedule allows for it. Most brand work is digital, for reliability and turnaround. Mixing the two in one project is possible and often works well: digital for the campaign, film for the editorial story.
-
Independent labels, slow brands, magazines, hospitality groups, makers, designers and editors — people who care where the images end up and prefer atmosphere over noise. My background before photography was two decades of digital and brand work for LEGO Education, Pandora and AKQA, so I'm comfortable inside a brand's process.
-
Four to six weeks is comfortable for a single-day shoot; larger productions and anything with travel want more. Shorter notice is sometimes possible. I keep the calendar deliberately light so the work gets the attention it needs.
